It was a gorgeous day and pretty much went off without a hitch, although Charlie did get water in his eyes. Thankfully, he didn't seem very bothered...just surprised. The priest was also very generous with the perfumed oil when pouring it over his head, so Charlie smelled really good but looked like a little grease ball all day. (Kinda cute :) This church had no particular wardrobe requirements, so were were able to reuse his seersucker suit from Steve and Magda's wedding. Somehow, we never got around to putting on his orange bow tie, but I doubt Charlie minded.
We had about 40 family members back at the house afterwards, and unfortunately, got very few photos. Bummer. Thinking back on it, my dad said he wished they had hired someone to come in and take photographs at the party because it is so rare that we get to see all these people together in one place. Regardless, it was great seeing everyone!
