Meeting the Grandparents

We were so lucky to have both sets of parents come to stay with us and meet Charlie.  My parents (Joanne) drove on Christmas day and arrived that night.  Jim's parents flew in on the 27th, which just happened to be Jim's dad's 68th birthday!  It was great having everyone at the house and it felt very festive.

We were quite spoiled with lots of home cooking and elegant dinners.  It was very relaxed, everyone took turns holding Charlie and we even got out for a stroll in the cul-de-sac.  We're looking forward to lots more visits, but have learned to Skype in the meantime...
