Charlie on a Plane

My cousin Mindy came into town from Atlanta a few weeks ago. We were thrilled to have her, and while it was a short visit, we did our best to show her the area and entice her to come back again. We attempted to do Monticello, but it was a 2 hour wait. So we promptly got out of there and walked around UVA instead. We were crazy optimistic and hauled everyone (Charlie included) to a nice restaurant on the downtown mall. Big mistake. It appears that Charlie is getting less portable and does not enjoy fancy restaurants when it is past his bedtime and we have run out of baby food. Hmm, we learn a little something everyday.

Mindy had happened to catch a ride here on a nice little jet. Not hers, but the girl does have connections! (However, she did make it clear that she is not associated with anyone from the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.) The pilots of the plane were incredibly gracious and offered that we bring Charlie out to sit in the cockpit before they took off. Of course, we jumped at the chance! What an amazing opportunity...while Charlie probably won't remember, we will never forget it. Thank you, thank you!!
